The installation celebrates the outsized role that zebrafish have played in making critical advancements in science and medicine. The school of colorful aluminum and fused glass fish that adorn the facility represent the key roles that ZIRC and UO have played in developing this critical research. These zebrafish embody the literary, mystical, and historical significance of that number, and the expansive potential for ZIRC’s work in the future.
